Update from Cisco - June 8, 2000

Hi, everyone. Its been a real long time since the last update. Since last I checked in we moved to the great Pacific Northwestern region of the US. A couple of trips to the emergency room...old romantic relationships ending, new ones beginning...bass players galore... The one main goal of these last six months or so, however, was finally realized with the recording of "Crossing with Switchblades", our new album out on Hopeless Records. Me and Ron hit the studio, and our friend and fellow Duke City escapee Mike Easton worked the engineering table. What resulted is a record we are all VERY happy with, for once. It aint Rocket to Russia, but then again it isnt that bad, either. It was recorded in Seattle (during really wierd circumstances and events, by the way). We hope you love it, cause we do. I think we finally got it right. Now we can spontaneously combust. 

We also have a track on the  new Turbonegro tribute album, "Alpha Motherfuckers". We are pretty damn excited about this one. Not only to be on the same record as The Dwarves(as well as Nashville Pussy, Zeke, Queens of the Stone Age, and The Supersuckers) but also just to show our appreciation of one of the most incredible bands we've ever played with. We do "Selfdestructo Bust" from Apocolypse Dudes, by the way. 

We're hitting the road again. This first one will be just a three week jaunt down the west coast across to Texas and back, but we got a month long US tour slated for September. We also may be doing a week in August on the west coast with Toys that Kill (ex-FYP). Keep checking this site for updates. 

Seattle and Portland are where we live for the moment, but we miss New Mexico. The food, the weather, our families and friends, and the food. We're looking forward to our show in Abq (June 30th at the launchpad) where we'll be taking a nice three day break in the middle of tour to soak in some Frontier chile and some Los Cuates sopaipillas. If you see us on the street feel free to give us the fish eye, but be nice to our new bass player. She'll murder you.
